Welcome to the (photo)strip club. I love the addition of an instant photo booth at events! It adds an interactive activity and fun takeaway for guests, all in one! I have a keepsake box where I keep mine and love to look back on all the fun. Happy to add these gems from the @wantable party last night to my collection! . . I LOVE me a great theme party! I fully embraced the roaring 20’s theme — fringe skirt and all! The @j.ryan_trio got us movin and groovin to oldies-but-goodies. @tallguyandagrill put out a tasty (and beautifully presented as always!) spread. @milwaukeeairwaves kicked things up a gear on the dance floor for late night fun. There was so much love and laughter in the room...let’s do it again!

With it being the weekend all about love, it has me thinking about MY love and dreaming of our beautiful Barbados honeymoon! I think it is so so important to take time as a couple after the big day to have an adventure together. It is helpful to budget it as part of the wedding expenses so that you can enjoy making those lifelong memories without being too stressed about the cost. . . Barbados was a dream! Seth and I love to “live it up” like the locals when we travel, trying to find the local gems. Me being a planner, I had lists of things to see/do, but some of my favorite moments are the ones where we went off course! We watched race horses swim at sunrise, ate fish cutters the size of our head on the beach, had a few too many rum punches at a rum shack, swam in underground caves, walked around a nighttime fish market, had lunch on the patio of the stunning @stnicholasabbey, sipped fresh squeezed lemonade in the middle of the rainforest, did a little @badgalriri spotting, snorkeled with turtles, danced the night away at a local nightclub, hiked, got lost, met a monkey named lucky and drove around the entire island in a tiny car on the other side of the road and the wrong side of the car (thank gosh I was only the navigator) — eight beaches in one day! I can’t say enough about the kindhearted and friendly locals of Barbados that were always eager to give suggestions and helpful tips during our travels! Our lovely hosts at @bougainvilleabarbados made our two week stay feel like home away from home. . . Long story, not so short (this is by far my longest post to date)...whether you take a trip or enjoy a staycation be sure to set aside time (and money) for the two of you to refresh, reflect, and have a ball after you get hitched!

WHAT A LOVELY MORNING @rivervalleyhistoricvenue! It is always exciting to explore a new space I might suggest to a client! I felt at home in this venue and can’t wait to see some of their fun projects come to life! A large bar area is being added upstairs to house cocktail hour and downstairs, one of the most charming bridal suites I’ve ever seen is in the works! These custom beauty stations and a counter for makeup and hot tools will be hung and ready to go soon. 💕 I was tempted to run out with their amazing @anthropologie rug, but I don’t think it would’ve fit in my Jetta. 😂 Thank you @pourincmke for the tasty mimosa and @atmosphericfloral for the flowers and goody bag!

“Hey there, sweet stuff!” The lovelies @mamabevsbakery sent me a delicious little package and I was happy to try their cherished St. Louis Butter Cake recipe! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 I love exploring new options to suggest to my clients for upcoming events and to serve to my company as well.
